The ‘Best of the Kruger’ experience begins in the far northern ‘Pafuri Area’ of the Kruger National Park (‘Kruger’). This is by far the wildest and most remote sector, one of the most scenic and a treasure destination for birders. The southern Kruger stay takes place on either an 18,000 hectare private concession offering a truly wild African safari combined with very comfortable accommodations, alternatively in the exclusive Sabi Sand Game Reserve where fine dining and luxurious living is combined with superb game viewing across the Sabi and Sand Rivers.
The beauty of this itinerary is the combination of the northern and (big game) southern sectors of the Kruger which very few people experience in this 7,700 square mile wilderness delight. The terrain is diverse between these ‘poles’ and this creates for different yet two very worthwhile safari experiences.
The ideal time of year for this experience is during the Winter and Spring months of June through to October. This is a package itinerary. Children under the age of 12 years will need to be on a private safari vehicle with regards the game drive experience.
